Manu Brazo & Saxophone in 20days

Manu Brazo is not your typical saxophonist. He's a trailblazing musician who is reshaping the world of saxophone playing in the 21st century. Born in Seville, Spain, Manu embarked on his saxophone journey at the tender age of 9, setting the stage for a remarkable career. His talent and dedication led him to study in Spain and, eventually, gain acceptance to the Royal College of Music in London, where he earned a Master's in Performance and an Artist Diploma with Distinction.

Manu's saxophone prowess is nothing short of extraordinary. He has garnered recognition as one of the most influential figures in the saxophone realm on social media. His captivating videos have amassed over 2 million views, resonating with audiences worldwide. It's evident that Manu's unique sound, sensitivity, and virtuosity have set him apart.

Before launching Saxophonein20days, in 2022 Manu Brazo founded one of the most influential Spanish-language online saxophone schools, Aprende Saxofón Online (Learn Saxophone Online). Through this platform, he guided over 500 students in enhancing their saxophone skills. Now, he is excited to expand his reach and share his expertise in the English-speaking world. With Saxophonein20days, Manu's mission is to make learning the saxophone a fast and enjoyable experience for students from all corners of the globe.

His performance repertoire is equally impressive. Manu has graced some of the world's most prestigious stages, from opening for Sir Cliff Richard to being the featured artist in the official concert for the Downton Abbey TV series. He has left his mark at renowned venues such as Philarmonie Berlin, Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Opera House, St Martin in the Fields, the Presidential Hall CSO ADA Ankara in Turkey, and even the 2018 Proms alongside the Britten-Pears Orchestra, conducted by Marin Alsop.

In recognition of his exceptional talent, Manu received the Audience Award at the Prince's Prize of the Musicians Company, marking him as the only Spanish musician to receive this accolade.

Manu's performances have not gone unnoticed by critics, with Classic FM praising his first performance as "amazing and 100% colossal." His appearances on BBC Radio 3's In Tune led to him being named BBC's Introducing Artist of 2018.

Manu has been an active participant in some of the UK's most esteemed Young Artist Programs, including Making Music's PDGYA, where he became only the third Spaniard to earn this distinction since its establishment in 1961. His talents have also gained him entry into the exclusive Musicians Company, which dates back to 1351.
